Issue 9 preview - Lucid Dreams

Coming to Issue 9 of 100% Biodegradable (due out late June) - Lucid Dreams by Scott Melrose and Denis Vermesse (with lettering by Ken Reynolds).

Stunning artwork from the ever versatile Denis, and a gripping story from Scott make the upcoming issue well worth a look.

Although Scott is new to the comics scene, he's already made quite an impact and his latest 'Bloody Mother' collaboration with Denis Vermesse was recently accepted by Something Wicked (a fantastic anthology from those splendid gentlemen at Futurequake Press).

Iron Bru!

Coming to Issue 7 of 100% Biodegradable...Iron Bru by David Hailwood and Denis Vermesse.

It's been eighteen years since the boneheaded barbarian bumbled his way onto the comics scene, first appearing in Issue 8 of Shane Chebsey's 'CAOF' anthology (my first published work!).

The original Bru strip was illustrated by myself, so it's jolly nice to have someone who can actually draw taking over the reins (especially when it's the highly talented Denis).  I'm sure this isn't the last we've seen of Bru!

As well as having strips published in such titles as 'Ashcan Oddities', 'SPOD!' and 'The Psychedelic Journal of Time Travel'  Stu Perrins is the writer and co-creator of 'Prime', 'Harvey Spig' and 'Mercury'.  He also writes 'Imperials' for Red Leaf Comics and acted as editor for charity anthology 'Tales from a Lonely Planet'.

Issue 4 Preview - Geophagy

As well as providing a rather stunning cover for Issue 4 of 100% Biodegradable, Stewart Moore has also created a brand new strip of gloriously surreal proportions, titled 'Geophagy'. 

I'm happy to say that more of Stewart's mighty fine artwork will be appearing in later issues.

A bit more about the artist:

Stewart Moore was born in Scotland and lives in Prague.

He is an actor as well as an artist, and played the part of Garrick in the movie Solomon Kane (his full IMDB entry can be examined here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2713851/)

He's had comic strips published in Futurequake and Zarjaz, and is in the process of illustrating a Judge Dredd Gamebook for Tin Man Games.

He once had one of his paintings unveiled in a pub in Prague by the legendary actor Dennis Hopper.

Issue 1 of 100% Biodegradable is now available to buy on Comixology!  Issues 2 and 3 have also been accepted and processed, so it shouldn't be long before they're available as well.  Thanks to Comixology's Guided View technology, you should be able to read the comic on smaller devices such as Mobile Phones (I've tested Guided View on my ipad with a complimentary copy that Comixology sent me, and it works very nicely indeed).  So if you haven't already brought yourself a copy of the first issue, now is a jolly nice time to do so (all support is greatly appreciated!).
